Tom Hardin received his pest control license in 1987, while working as Director of Environmental Services for Chester County Hospital. Shortly after leaving hospital work, he formed his own pest control company.
Tom worked alone for several years, building the business and its reputation. He later added his daughter-in-law, Donna, as office manager, and his son, Wade, as a technician. Another son, Aaron, and daughter-in-law, Candi, both worked for short periods with the company, keeping it a family-owned and operated company.
The business continued to grow, with employees from outside the family joining the team. In September of 2002, Tom opened a branch office in Boiling Springs, South Carolina, and his nephew, Brian Hardin, joined the business as branch manager.
In January, 2004, we obtained the 1-800-PestControl telephone number to assist our customers with quick access to complete pest control service. We foresee company growth through better customer communication and service.
